This one is for the sunset lovers 🌅 Add @vagare This one is for the sunset lovers 🌅 Add @vagarestaurant to your list for a beautiful oceanfront date night this summer. This rooftop spot is located at the @alilamareabeachresort in Encinitas in North County San Diego.

Our favorite things on the menu: The halibut, hearth fired sweet potato side and the chocolate bomb for dessert 🤤 and make sure to stick around for sunset and grab one of the firepits at the bar.

Maybe it’s because we just moved and I’m in total nesting mode, but I literally don’t want to be more than 10 minutes from the house right now. The thought of taking a 10 hour flight to an overcrowded summer destination is sending me 😵‍💫

This staycation was absolutely perfect. Mornings in the sauna, easily accessible beach walks, sunset dinners, and spa time. Truly all a gal needs right now 🙏🏻

🇵🇹 Here’s your cheat sheet to the best bea 🇵🇹 Here’s your cheat sheet to the best beaches in Algarve, Portugal 👇🏻 (+ make sure to save this post for later planning)!

☀️ Praia do Castelo: Here you can find one of the best beach clubs in the Algarve, and it’s a good spot to post up all day with plentiful chairs and umbrellas and facilities.

☀️ Praia do Vale de Centeanes: One of the more picturesque beaches in the Algarve, this one feels like a hidden gem and is best enjoyed at lower tides. Enjoy an awesome seafood dinner at sunset next door at O Stop.

☀️ Praia da Salema: For a more off-the-beaten path feel, head to the fishing village of Salema for a long stretch of sand with plenty of space to spread out.

☀️ Praia da Marinha: One of the most iconic beaches in the Algarve, this one can be viewed from above along the Seven Hanging Valleys trail.

☀️ Praia do Camilo: Stunning but tiny, Camilo is one of the most popular beaches on the Algarve Coast and gets PACKED, so I’d recommend visiting on a weekday or earlier in the morning.

☀️ Praia do Carvalho: This beach is along the Seven Hanging Valleys trail and is accessed through a stone tunnel. It’s a fun one with rock formations you can stroll along as well as caves to explore.

☀️ Praia de São Rafael: If you’re looking for a good family friendly beach with a restaurant directly on the sand, this is the one for you. It has plenty of facilities and easy parking for a long beach day.

☀️ Benagil Beach: One of the best places from which to access the Benagil Cave, this cozy stretch of sand is also great to post up at, though there are tour groups moving in and out of the water pretty regularly here, so keep that in mind.

☀️ Praia de Carvoeiro: Located right at the tip of the town of Carvoeiro, this is an adorable seaside town to explore followed by a relaxing day at the beach with plenty of restaurants and shops to explore.

☀️ Praia de Falésia: This was once voted the best beach in Europe—it’s one of the longest beaches in Algarve with tons of space to spread out and admire the unique orange and white rocky cliffs that jut up against the sand.

Which one would you visit first? 🤩

🏡 NEW HOME REVEAL! 🌿 For over a year now the 🏡 NEW HOME REVEAL! 🌿 For over a year now there’s been a quiet whisper nudging me towards something different, somewhere different, and I can’t believe after 13 years in LA and now 3 months of nomad life that we’re finally in our new home 🤍

I’ve lived in LA since my mid-twenties, since I was broke, perpetually single, in a job I didn’t love and living for my weekends. Los Angeles has seen me through the most formative years of my life—meeting lifelong friends, losing two parents, living in my first solo gal apartment, starting my own business, navigating the pandemic, and meeting my husband.

It will always be a place that feels like home 🫀, but for a while I’ve known my soul was calling for something different. A slowing down. A deeper integration with nature. An infusion of fresh energy that sometimes only a radical shift can initiate.

On Sunday we moved into our new home in Encinitas (North County San Diego for those that aren’t familiar) and it’s everything my soul has been seeking.

It’s still a little scary and intimidating thinking about building an entirely new community and re-finding new favorite restaurants, workouts, doctors, etc., but mostly I just feel excited to begin a new chapter that feels most aligned with where I’m at in my life.

At some point when the boxes and mess have dissipated, I’ll share more from the inside of the house, but the biggest things on my vision board for this house were:

🤍 Outdoor space! Our last home only had balconies, and this new place has the most zen front and back yard. Our windows and doors are constantly open and it’s the best feeling ever!!

🤍 Seeing green out our windows 🌿🌿🌿

🤍 Natural light

🤍 Close to nature—we’re a 5 minute drive to the beach!

So ready for the San Diego chapter to begin 🙏🏻
