Welcome 👋🏼 to all the new faces around here! Welcome 👋🏼 to all the new faces around here! I had a couple Reels go viral, so I thought I would re-introduce myself for all the new friends 🙏🏻 thanks for being here! I'm Michelle 🙋🏼‍♀️I've been travel blogging for 6+ years now and have traveled to 48 countries! I was born in Miami, moved to Maine when I was 7, lived in NYC after college and have spent most of my time since in LA (when I'm not hopping around the 🌍). The cliff notes of my story go something like this: After 7 years working in various sectors of the fashion industry, I was majorly BURNT OUT. So I saved up $30,000, started a blog, and quit my job to backpack around the world for a year. After returning home from my trip, both my parents passed away from cancer within a 6 week period. I was just getting serious about making my blog into a full-time career and turned 30 that year. Then we all know what happened in 2020. But somehow I'm still here plugging away, continuing to make this dream of travel and freedom a reality! That’s the majorly shortened version, but I say this to show you that even with the ups and downs, and as cliché as it sounds, it's possible for you to turn your dream into your job no matter what roadblocks pop up in your way. I hope my story inspires you to keep going 🙌🏻 Now for some random fun facts 🤪: • I hate getting asked where my favorite places are because I feel like I never have a good answer—there are too many to choose from! But I usually go with Portugal, South Africa and Mexico • I'm a beach girl at heart and don't think I could ever live away from the ocean 🐚 • Pickles disgust me. Don’t ask 🤢 • My current favorite dog to follow on IG is @louthechichi 🐶 • I refuse to watch horror films ever since I was traumatized by The Poltergeist at age 11• I've been to 18 national parks + am visiting 4 new ones this summer!• Public speaking and being stuck in small spaces are my greatest fears • I’m a die-hard Rufus du Sol fan• 🍣 all day please• I have a problem buying books far faster than I can read them, but I do read every single night before bed without fail! Tell me something about you 😄
